Quality is no longer limited as an efficiency driver and a perceived interest to improve product positioning. With the growing standards and regulatory demands Quality is viewed to be a must-have criteria. Today’s global trade, market access is strongly tied to the standards adapted and complied with.
Food Sector which primarily is our focus, we have observed the need for adaptation of global standards such as HACCP, ISO22000, ISO9000, GMP, etc which has resulted in building trust within a buyer of the quality of the product.
Whilst standards were sought to be for larger enterprises in developing markets, today it is a commodity which is made much available for all most everyone. This is made possible with the ecosystem evolving on knowledge, infrastructure and supporting environment together with the certification bodies.
Our experience operating and serving the sector in Sri Lanka has revealed the standards allows growth of key export products (especially food related products) allowing much greater space for continuous growth. Maximizing the opportunity by evolving on the standards and providing greater value resulting in stronger trust can be a contributor for exponential growth.
Our focus is to contribute on this journey of our customers being a trusted partner guiding through this.
